Dr. Charu Arora’s journey into nutrition began with a deep curiosity about how everyday food choices influence health across different stages of life. What started as an academic interest gradually evolved into a lifelong commitment to helping people build healthier relationships with food.

Over the years, her work as a dietitian has shown her that nutrition is rarely just about knowing what to eat. More often, it is about understanding lifestyles, habits, emotions, and the many small decisions people make around food every day. This perspective led her to focus not only on diet plans but also on sustainable behaviour change and practical lifestyle strategies.

A PhD in Food and Nutrition, Dr. Charu combines scientific knowledge with a compassionate and personalised approach to care. Her work today focuses largely on women’s health—supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum recovery and long-term metabolic wellness.

In 2022, she founded Sankalp, a name that reflects her philosophy that lasting lifestyle changes require intention, consistency, and accountability. Through Sankalp, she translates evidence-based nutrition science into simple, sustainable habits that fit into real life.

Since its inception, Sankalp has guided 1000+ clients across 10 countries, supporting individuals with weight management, lifestyle conditions and holistic wellness. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Charu is passionate about nutrition education, regularly conducting lectures, workshops and training programs for students, professionals and community groups.

For Dr. Charu, nutrition is not about rigid rules or perfection, but about helping people build balanced, realistic habits that support lifelong health.
